Once upon a time Avon was know for it's creative packaging. I remember my dad had a whole collection of cars with different men's colognes in them. It was so fun as a kid to look at his collection. Today you can still find some of the collections on ebay!
Avon brought back the Boot last year with Avon's popular scent Wild Country. It is a nice looking decanter. Above you can see collections from the past and now Avon is introducing our newest decanter with the very popular Mesmerize for him cologne.
So are you ready to start collecting again? I think it is interesting how things circle back every 10 years! These decanters are what made Avon and Iconic Company (in my opinion). They also had really great childrens decanters.
As a child, I had the "It's a small world" collection as seen here from an Ebay ad.
I loved this collection and had several of the dolls. You pulled off their heads to get the cologne / perfume out. So cute and collectible.
My mom sold Avon when I was a kid and I am like most Avon reps, following in the footsteps as my mom. I am doing much better than my mom ever did because the times are so different. Back in the day mom was assigned a neighborhood to work door to door. Now we can go anywhere to find customers. We have the ability to go online to social media, blogs, and we have our own online store.
